Privacy policy

DetailingStack ("we", "us") operates the detailingstack.com web app and mobile apps. This page is a plain-English summary of what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. The full legal version is at /legal/privacy/full.

What we collect

• Account data: your email, name, business name, password hash.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used (analytics, opt-in only).
• Customer-of-tenant data: names, phones, vehicles, jobs — the data your customers entrust to you.
• Payment data: Stripe handles card numbers; we never see or store them.

What we share

• Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Cloudflare R2 (photos). We name every subprocessor in the full policy.
• We never sell or rent your data.

Data retention

We keep tenant data as long as your subscription is active. On cancellation you have 90 days to export everything; after that we anonymize audit logs and delete PII.

Your rights

You can export, anonymize, or delete any customer's data inside Settings → Customers, or request the same by emailing privacy@detailingstack.com. We respond within 3 business days.
